Through the window of your room

I see a house across the river,

You call to me without a sound,

with just your lips.

The dark current between us,

sky in cold water

and the light from your windows

at night.

We lie in our beds,

on different sides of the river,

we think about us,

what we will be,

if we meet again sometime

when a star falls,

if we still want it after the night

each other.

And only dark water

between us,

we wake up and fall asleep

on your side.

I stand facing the darkness,

turning to you,

over the river and in the head -

fog.

Call me from there,

even if I remain silent,

on the distant shore

I will love.

Ice in the middle of winter

will connect the shores with bridges,

maybe you'll come then

to warm up.
