Amber has been wandering around the world for twenty years - Bali, Nepal, Thailand and India, temples and silent camps - she travels with a dirty backpack and tattered clothes, lives in cheap rooms and rides in passenger cars, finds hundreds of short-term friends, just as lost.

And she just shakes her head: "almost almost, sometimes it seems that I have caught my Meaning by the tail, but in the morning it has escaped again."

Arūnas travels along the routes of mushrooms - not boletus and not squirrels - the paths of other mushrooms. He invites me: "you have to try, that trip will change your attitude, you will see" - but what I see is only a short-term dream, from which Arūnas wakes up and is again the same as before: a twisted man, a weaver of all kinds of obscure business.

Roland has been cycling around the Earth for three years. He stops there, where the Internet is, makes a day job (he's a programmer), falls in love with a woman (he's good-looking and has a good tongue) and moves on. You never know where you will sleep the next night, you never know when you will stop.
- What did you understand, what did I learn about life, I want to know too.
Roland just laughs and says that you need to keep moving, you need to drink in the world without being attached to a place or to people, to enjoy the pleasures and not look back.

But he is only thirty.

And recently I met the same sixty-year-old wanderer. American Tom is no longer so fast and so handsome. Women don't want him anymore - a bald head, long greasy hair, withered skin on darkly tanned arms and a white belly over worn jeans. Tom spends the night in hostels, he sits in the common kitchen for a long time looking for company, but there are only young people there, he and his grandfather are not very interested.

Brother Pius is a priest in Liepaja, he searches for himself in prayer, he looks up at the plastic awning with the image of Jesus. There he finds answers and tries not to doubt them.
Because to question it would be terrible: then you would admit that you have been talking to a printed picture for thirty years. That no god could hear you, and that voice of answers was you.
But who knows, maybe Brother Pius is right: the answers you heard - if you listened sincerely and listened carefully - those answers are the most important truth.

To go deep within yourself, to the secret garden within, to smell brightly colored blossoms and scratch yourself against prickly vines, to stumble over gnarled roots and discover the sweetest fruits - this is where the best journey is.
In that mysterious garden, you don't know who you will meet - somewhere deep in the thicket, eyes are shining - you can call it your soul.
It's good to meet her.
