I was standing in the queen's toilet. I deliberately lagged behind the tour, I wanted to be alone here. When we looked around the living room, the bedroom, the bed - I didn't feel anything special. I tried to imagine how tired she would undress, how she would lift the blanket and sigh blissfully, stretching her tired legs. But it still seemed like a fairy tale - still too far from our ordinary earthly lives. Perhaps she would sigh somehow more nobly, with a royal accent.
And the toilet doesn't lie.
Toilet matters ungodly – here we are no different at all.
When the tour was over, I sat on the toilet.
I saw the wall in front of me, the one the Queen would look at at those moments. I saw the shiny knobs and the roll of paper – and the paper was the same as the one in our house, and it did the same thing.
For a moment, I felt that the ceremonial queen was just as human: with a tiring body, aging skin, graying hair. And walking the same path as us – on her earthly journey, even more lonely than ours.
Her path leads through neatly trimmed lawns, parks and palace stairs, soft carpets, cobblestone squares and oak palace parquet. But it leads to the same place. At the end of the path we all meet.
I was at the end of her track too.
That day I was sitting in a theater in London, and suddenly, in the middle of the performance, the announcement was made from the stage that the Queen was no longer there. People stood up. There was a minute of silence, someone coughed, we stood up again and sat down. The show continued.
The spectacle continued, and all that remained of the most famous man in the world was a name printed in books, carved on monuments, and slowly fading from memory.
No, it's not the toilet or the bedroom that makes us down-to-earth, ordinary people.
Perhaps this is the path. The path we walk without crowns and without escort.
Even if we hold hands, we walk our path alone.

Neapgalvota, kaip paveikslėlį pritaikyti prie konkretaus modelio. Xiomi 15 ultra kamera labai didelė, iškirptos ir flamingo ir moters galvos. Paveikslas netenka savo prasmės, nei šioks nei toks: moteris be galvos. Labai nuvylė rezultatas...
