Canvas "Big Man's Little Secret"

Big picture story
Forty children depicted their dreams on the canvas: I distributed markers and asked them to draw how beautiful this world is to them and what they would like from it. There were kittens, puppies, airplanes, flowers and clouds, hearts and loving words. And a bit of sadness - knowing that wishes don't always come true.

And then I covered all those naive dreams with paint, covered them with several layers, hid them so that no one would see them again.

I know they are there, but they are hidden deep down.
The way we adults hide our childhood under layers of solidity and image. Although inside those drawings - those thoughts, naivety, fears, dreams and other fragile feelings - live, but even the closest people do not suspect that we still have them!
And then, probably, we ourselves forget...
